I know Im a little bit behind but Happy October everyone. Can you believe how quickly this year has gone by? It feels like only last week it was December! I cant believe that we are so close to starting a new year all over again! I have to say although I like summer and getting a bit of sun and nice long bright days I do have a good bit of love for this time of year. Its just the combination of knitwear thats not too heavy but not too thin, ankle boots (which are one of my most favourite types of shoe ever), scarves and a good coat that I just love. October is one of my favourite times of year because its just in-between seasons.

So as its Autumn the weather will start to dip a little in temperature so its about time to start looking at the Winter wear. It might not be freezing yet but now is a good time to start looking at knitwear. Knitwear at this time of year is always my favourite because its not too heavy. When Winter comes around there will be thicker slightly heavier knits around but for now they are just lighter, easier knits.

Another thing I love about this time of year are shirts. I have a good few now for Autumn and they are just so handy. They are great because they are perfect for when its not cold but there is a chill so its a light piece but with long sleeves. Throw a string vest top underneath and you have an extra layer no one will even notice! So far my shirt collection totals nine (whoops) but two of them I am thinking of putting up on my Depop! In regards to my Depop the two shoes I had on profile are now gone so I removed them from the page today incase people are wondering! This look above I have tried to recreate using Missguided products and they have some amazing boots in. Definitely head over to the website to look at the boots of for nothing else because guaranteed you will fall in love with a pair!
So thats just my little introduction piece into Autumn wear so lots more posts to come on how to start transitioning into later Autumn and Winter.
Ever Yours
Lily
