Happy July everyone! As we are now on the fifth day of the July month I thought it might be nice to share my favorite looks with you from different sources so far. I know we are only five days in but there has been so many good looks popping up on my Instagram and Tumblr and other various social media outlets that I thought it was time to share a few.
Fist up is the lovely Khloe Kardashian with a beautiful royal blue dress by Rhode Resort and the gorgeous Michael Costello dress she wore at her 30th birthday yacht party. The two dresses are beautiful but if Im being honest I love the blue dress a little bit more because the colour is just gorgeous and its such a summery and chic dress. Of course the Michael Costello dress is amazing also as it is a classy elegant gown with its cut outs and side split and it also highlights all her features. Which one do you guys like?
I can’t go past Khloe’s Birthday without mentioning the always glamorous older sister Kim Kardashian‘s look for her sisters birthday. Kim wore an amazing dress by designer Ulyana Sergeenko which looked stunning on her. I think it might one of my favorites looks from her yet! I just love the detail and colour of it.
Moving away from Kardashian Klan territory now there are a few other looks that I love lately. I am in love with all the colours and looks this season and it is nice to see all the patterns and prints and colours coming out after that horrible winter we had here in Ireland! Checks and zig zag seem to be very in at the moment and this matchy combo is a good example of that look. You can find this pattern in stores and in homes in the form of rugs and curtains. (You can see it in my previous post Place Of Patterns).
Speaking of patterns and prints I like the tribal/beaded trend going on aswell. Theres lots of aztec, luminous, patterned pieces out at the moment in the form of skirts and dresses. I found this look on Tumblr a while ago and it is so interesting because of the colours and shape of the dress and the detail gone into the pattern.
I am also in love with this Boohoo.com swing dress. I love the three layers of colour it has and how bright and playful it is. If you go into my Outfit Inspiration category then you will see my post Sixties Swing and see an example of how to style this piece. I just think it is so perfect for summer and a simple outfit that you can wear anytime dressed up or down and look fabulous.
So colours are in and blacks and greys are out for now until winter but even then you should make an effort with your wardrobe so it doesnt seem too dark this winter. I hope you all enjoyed the post and found some colourful tips of inspiration! I will have another up tomorrow about the four main wedding events in the last couple of weeks!
