Here is my latest and last GTI photoshoot for this year! This was based on 50’s music styles up until the present day so I had to look at alot of vintage styles and go through the horror that was the late nineties and early 2000s! I decided on three looks for my photoshoot. I got inspiration from shoots with stars like Lana Del Rey and Avril Lavigne. My first look is based on this photo of Lana Del Rey
I tried to recreate the look by using my white ASOS skirt from my first sixties photoshoot with a simple white top. My model this time is my friend from the GTI Journalism Class of 2014. I used a few different filters on the photos for this photoshoot. I have never been the photographer for a shoot before so please let me know what you think!
My second look was more of a punk style which was really cool to do because I haven’t done a punky type of shoot before. I tried to get that 80’s rock and roll sort of look with the tartan and cigarettes. I absolutely love the first shot! It is my favorite shot from the whole photoshoot and I love the black and white filter with it because it really brings out the denim creases and lines. I love the one with her smoking aswell as it is kind of silhouetted but you can see the smoke rising aswell.
My third and final look was a cute sixties look. I used my Tk Maxx blouse in this shoot and my primark skirt. Again the black and white filters worked really well with these photos because they add a certain time to them.
I have had so much fun doing all three of my photoshoots and creating new looks! I promise I will try and do some this summer for you guys! Special thanks to my friends for helping me out with them Elizabeth McCarthy and Flore Lapeyre for the first shoot, Flore Lapeyre again for the second shoot and Monique Flatley for this one! I hope you all like them and have a good week xx
